Behind The Scene

On this page you can find links to all of the Behind The Scene posts on Track of Words, arranged in date order.

If you haven’t read a Behind The Scene post before, these are articles in which authors offer up glimpses behind the curtain of their writing. Think of them as ‘excerpt + author commentary’ posts – each one contains an excerpt/sample of a novel, along with a commentary from the author discussing the excerpt in some way. It’s up to each author to decide what they want to talk about – for example the inspirations behind certain characters or ideas, what they wanted to achieve in a particular scene, or why they made some of the creative choices they did.
